Re: A Policy for "departing members"

Thank you for this fair and useful policy, mod team. It is frustrating when posts have been removed, a name change is an ideal solution to that. Definitely seconding the removal of flouncing posts, I have seen that policy be very successful at other sites.

Re: Trying on skirts in clothes shops

NO men in fitting rooms! Well thats just common sense. I sure the hell would not want men crawling in the womens dressing rooms when a female I know is in there. You never know what will happen in todays world. Yeah, she might like guys confident enough to wear skirts and maul him. 8) Sharing fitti...

Re: Skirting around Buenos Aires

Juan, that red skirt is outstanding. Not only is it a loose fit that still allows you to show off your leg silhouette it also goes really well with the jacket's red lining. :D

Re: Less kilts, more skirts.

Folks, just be YOU, no apologies, no explanations and folks really will take great joy in being around you, they'll do business with you, they'll even respect your novel approach to clothing. This is so true. Chris, you are such a wonderful addition to this community! You certainly have the sense t...

Re: Hello!

I guess we should also observe the same fashion notes as women, in that dressing mutton as lamb, especially when you're into senior age figures, is less cruel to the onlooker if it can be avoided. Onlookers be darned, where would men in skirts be if they needed public approval? The same holds true ...

Re: Greeting from Ivu

Welcome to the Cafe, Ivul! Juan, the best way I know to learn a new language is to start with the food. My father-in-law was raised in Indonesia and has taught me about many wonderful foods like kroepoek shrimp chips, spicy sambal oelek sauce, and fried rice nasi goreng.... Ivul, you live in a great...

Re: Greetings from Paul

My two daughters, 6 and 3, aren't phased at all by my wearing skirts. In fact, the youngest of them simply called it a "boy skirt". They are at an impressionable age, where they are still learning what is "acceptable" in society and what is not. Hopefully they will grow up witho...

Welcome among us, Nanciboy. I am a fan of HHPlace and it makes sense that men open to variety in their shoes would be receptive to skirts for men as well. :)

I don't mind doing the dishes for you if you play the organ to keep me company. I think you are a wonderful addition to the behind the scenes kitchen crew, Uncle Al! Thank you for pitching in to make this place continue to work well. :D

Re: Too Feminine - is there a tipping point ?

So I guess my question is whether there is a dividing point for skirts that can/cannot be worn by males in public; if so what ? I think there certainly are items that would need more care in pulling an outfit together to have it read the way you want to be seen, or at least as often as possible giv...

Re: Bruno

Although I have read the material is not too impressive I am certainly enjoying the print ads for his clothing. Variety and whimsy make me smile and I am amazed at how completely different Sacha Baron Cohen looks as Borat and Bruno.

Re: Mens Skirt On Horse Equipment Site

Ooh, that green skirt/cover does look great! Seeing the belt on it makes me realize how few belts I see at the cafe. It seems like a thick belt or large buckle would be a good way to help incorporate skirts into a masculine look.

Re: On age, risk, and skirt wearing

While we do get guys taking half a lifetime to realize they have to live for themselves it may be younger men don't need as much support to wear their skirts. I take it as a good sign that we do not have a large number of participants in early adulthood.
