Re: Birkenstock Mary JaneA
Those Birkenstocks do look good Mouse. It seems a pity to get them messed up with, ‘building site crud.’ Do you think they do a steal toe—cap version?

Re: What colour is your shadow?
Thank you Barleymower for enlightening me to this book. I notice that there are other books in the series: ‘My Shadow is Blue; and, ‘My Shadow is Purple.’ I will definitely be buying these books to read to my grandchildren who are of the age for these books. The eldest is six and she is becoming mor...

Both items look fantastic to me. If only I had youthful looks on my side and less of a belly…
I hope the items turn out okay for you mouse.

Re: Just an Observation
Hello Mouse. I live in WGC and am currently working in Whetstone at the moment so yes, it’s possible we could bump into each other.

Just an Observation
I’ve only posted a couple of times here and that was a long time ago but I really want to share an observation I had today. This morning, I attended my local Toolstation store in Hertfordshire, England. I was wearing a skirt and tights. The young man serving me was wearing two necklaces. One was an ...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large
In terms or wearing a skirt in a room in front of 11 complete strangers, it was a non-event. No encouraging nor disparaging comments or looks but then we didn't have time to mingle because there was a lot of subject matter to be covered.
The course itself sounds like it’s going to be brilliant!

Re: Skirts at work
When I went public in 2011 I told all my clients. I'm self employed gardener, so skirt wearing is not practical. I am a self-employed painter and decorator and a friend of mine pointed out the firm 'Rugged and Tough' that sells workwear. In their range are work kilts, black, green and white. I use ...

Re: Not just lurking
Persistence and gentle pressure have been the key for me. We're at the point where she has no problem (or perhaps very little) with me going skirted anywhere; she just doesn't want to be seen with me. I think that I too have also worn my wife down to the knowledge that skirts are here to stay. She ...

Re: "Unisex". Let's just stop it.
I’m not sure that I understand the Wikipedia entry. If we, men, are using the term “Unisex Clothing” to describe/categorise or represent men wearing (altered) women’s clothing does that mean that us men confirm that the male role is now subservient to the women’s? I have never considered in-equality...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large
Tues 20th Jan 2015 is the day when I start on the Digital Photography Beginners course. I’ve been looking forward to it since I enrolled last July. I've already informed the course tutor that I wear skirts and her reply was that it’s okay with her but there will be eleven other people on the course....

Re: Skirt length - my experience
I like knee length skirts. I feel self-conscious with anything above the knee when I sit down because the skirt rides up. I am a decorator and have a 'Workman's Kilt' that I wear quite often. The weight of the material together with its fullness provides confidence when working and has lots of pocke...

Re: My families reaction
Unfortunately for me I no longer have either parent; they were taken from me and my brothers through natural causes of cancer and heart attack. I am certain that my mother would have approved because she always said that she would have liked to have had a girl and I know that she would have loved to...

Re: Skirted military veteran
The author sounds angry as if he's written the article in response to some negativity he's received to a skirted outing.
