Its the phrase I prefer
Ziggy--
I understand that you prefer the Phrase 'fashion freestyler',
but that's just it,
it is a Phrase-not a 'new' word created to represent
an idea, place or thing. I was shooting for a group of 'new words'
to convey our thoughts and principles, not a previous phrase.
Please, don't take me wrong as there is nothing wrong with your
preferences. Depending on the context of a discussion, your phrase
may be used with as much of a bat of the eye as any other phrase.
I'm looking for new
'catch words' to help update our image and move
us forward into the fashion scene, and to get the
'snobs' on 5th Ave.
to realize
'their ideas' for mens fashion IS NOT WHAT WE WANT!
Maybe, for once, the fashionistas will listen to the public's ideas
instead of dictating what men will wear. [ Yeah, I know--Fat Chance! ]
I've been told many-a-time that to be a good speaker, you must
be a good listener. So far, I feel that the 5th Ave Snobs have not
listened to the public in over 30-50 years. Neither has the Media.
For example, you say to a reporter friend ...'Did you hear that
Joe Brown has a broken finger an asked for help in changing a flat
tire?' By the time the 'story' reaches the main news show,
'Joe Brown was in a full body cast, changing a tire, and was
run over by an 18 wheeler.' Was 'this reporter' a good listener?
I don't think so because 'the real story' was not a 'newsworthy story'.
As you can tell, some of our 'patrons' are a bit
'Punny'
and why not

Punsters help to eliminate tension and,
as Reader's Digest say's,
Laughter is the Best Medicine. We all
need a good laugh now and then, as this helps to keep us on
an even keel! ( Plus laughter helps us to live longer. )
So Ziggy, please put on your thinking cap and submit some new
words which describes our goals. You can be as 'Punny' as you want.
