Her approval extends only as far as anonymous circumstances, where the liklihood of her needing to explain a skirted husband is unlikely. But I will say that she has come a long way in the years that I have been indulging my fashion compulsions, and I cannot imagine having any other.I envy you, Dillon that you have an approving spouse and can go out skirted like that.
LOL. And here I just got mine down to a 38 again! Maybe I need to try corsets too! In fact I had envisioned a corseted kilt, once upon a time...Didn't Scarlet have a 17 inch waist?.....at least when she was a young gel!

I bought the skirt (Amazon call it a "Rain kilt") for a narrowboat holiday - the weather wasn't too good and driving the boat entails standing outside in all weathers. Great on a sunny day, not so good on a wet and windy day.
Walked down to the local supermarket. Inside, a mother said to her child "Mind the ... " I think she saw me, saw the skirt and then couldn't decide man or woman. Ah well, she was in jeans so I knew she was female![]()
