Uncle Al

That's the footage that Sapphire and I saw. Calling it "dramatic" does not even begin to describe it. At one point, we counted at least three 53' trailers in the air simultaneously.Uncle Al wrote:What you saw on TV was the "Tip of the Iceberg".
There is a trucking company about 8-10 miles east of us where the tornado picked up the semi-trailers, about 6-7 tons in weight, and tossed them about like toothpicks. The live coverage I was watching showed the formation of the 'twister' and ripped through the trucking company. The trailers were flipping about like a toddler throwing toys. Some were over 500-800 feet in the air and landed 1/4 to 3/4 of a mile away from the trucking company.
