Re: Martin's new MUG
Thank you all for the kind comments -- flattery will get you nowhere, but it's always nice to receive!
Yes the colour scheme of this shopping centre is atrocious; next time I'll place myself more carefully if anyone levels a camera at me.
Good eye for detail, Owen. On the seat is a little girl with a tartan skirt. Although the excuse for our get-together was to plan some ceilidh dancing, she and I were the only ones to fly the flag. One of the men was a bagpiper who only dons his kilt when asked to play. The other two, Spanish, probably knew little about Scotland or kilts, but did not seem to mind my eccentric attire.

Excellent look, Martin. It all looks natural, which is the effect that I seek. Charity shops are indeed a good place to pick up skirts. Sadly, as the womenfolk are wearing skirts less and less, the choice isn't always so good.
Happy days!

I've been on this planet since 1988 and wearing a skirt since 2008.

Re: Martin's new MUG
For want of a better term, I'd say that is about the most MANLY looking non-kilt skirt I've seen. Garments like that "should" be a normal part of a man's closeted clothing. (for want of the right word) I HATE getting old...words I've had all my life are on the tip of my tongue but I just can't spit them out when I need them. Booo!!

I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.
