But that is not the discovery that I was talking about in the subject line. It is October and Hallowe'en is coming. Yesterday I decided to venture out (skirted of course) to my favourite clothing source Value Village. Being a bargain shop, they tend to bring in some more interesting stuff to suit the costume seekers. Well lo and behold, what did I find but a rack of tiered skirts of different colours and patterns. Well I took advantage of this opportunity and procured 3 tiered skirts to add to my rapidly expanding collection. One (the one I'm wearing now) is a beautiful royal blue, one in black and the other with a blue pattern in it which I am at a loss to describe. Its kind of a varigated thing. Well I would take a picture of it but the camera that I have wouldn't do it justice. I just gotta get a new camera. I took a pic of the one I'm wearing now but it has a red blotch in the middle of it and the colour is way off.
So I now own 4 tiered skirts and in that regard I am a happy camper (well skirter). And if you want something interesting and even fun to wear, drop by your nearest bargain shop before the end of the month and you might find something of value. Oh and speaking of value, these were new skirts, made in the USA and cost me like $5 each. Not only am I happy but so is my wallet
