That looks exactly like something my Mom might have said back when she was around 30 or so and still wearing skirts etc. in the pre-pants days of the 1950's-60's.

When she passed away in 1999, I donated probably 40 FUGs (Female Unbifurcated Garments) to the Salvation Army for anyone, probably not females, that might want them. I'd have kept them for myself, but as she was 5'1" and 105 lbs. There was nothing there that might fit me, even if I dieted. :D :D :D
I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.

I've been skirted part time since 1972 and full time since 2005. http://skirts4men.myfreeforum.org/

Thanks for that. I have vivid recollections of being on stage earlier on in my life, and hated the fact that my street clothes were so bloody hot. Those days are long in my past, but I believe that being on stage in something that everybody should experience during their lifetimes. (I got to play an oboe solo on stage once as part of an adaptation of Dvorak's New World Symphony which was positively magical!)

It looks like I'll revisit this notion and vendor in late winter when I'm looking forward to warmer temperatures. The floor-length full skirt appeals to me as does the floor-length pleated one. The knee-length ones look like they might be rather awkward given my geometry.

ChrisM -- If your look for the wedding is not cast in stone yet, consider "going long" (and get a mild petticoat to fill it out); long can make for an amazing look.

Supercool. My sister is an oboeist, currently gearing up for the CBSO's Mahler 8 http://www.cbso.co.uk/?page=concerts/vi ... l&cid=2167.

Not really relevant to anything, but there you go.
