Are you sure you're from the UK? You'd have realised you were having the p*ss taken out of you, if you really were! :?
kilty wrote:I'm not too sure about this 'gay Gordon' thing you lot are referring to. Some gays might have hijacked the kilt, but it's better than the 'sad, old, white, middle-aged, confused men in denim skirts' look I see here.
Same goes for that comment, too! Excellent use of grammar, young man - "old" & "middle-aged" used in the same description!!!!!!!!!
At least we all will now remember you as the guy whose photo you 'nicked'!

Ray,

Have a look at one of Kiltys first posts, here.

That pretty much tells you all you need to know about a kilty who's too unsure of himself to leave home if he's not in the brothas gangster uniform. You'll also note that he has previous form posting other peoples pictures.

Sad. Very, very sad, but maybe he'll get better one day; perhaps when he's middle aged or old...?

Have fun,

Ian.

Kilty

Funny how he always uses other peoples pictures. First he used Veletron's then he used the flat fronted guy with white high heeled boots picture.

What is wrong with his own picture. I am no oil painting but at least I use my own picture.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I'm not happy with the tone this discussion is taking. If we think a participant is being an idiot, I suggest we just ignore him (or her, if we run across an female idiot here.)

If someone insists on repeatedly making offensive posts, then the moderators can remove him, but I don't think it helps anybody to respond in kind. "A soft answer turneth away wrath," and if it doesn't, a hard answer isn't likely to be any more effective.

If we want to convince people that Men in Skirts is a normal clothing alternative, rhapsoziding about the bulge in our skirts is more likely to put people off and see us as a bunch of pervs...

I don't want to be reading about codpieces and stuff, I thought this was about wearing skirts and looking cool. All this wearing tights, slips and stuff isn't for me, I might head over to X-Marks the Scot if this is the level of conversation here... :(

Back in the day I'd wear a kilt, I might even bust a jean-skirt or two like JeffB did (I see he's left)... things are a little too kinky here...

We all gonna look like this in a minute...
Actually what we see in the picture is a happy man. Think about that.

Maybe he is trying to immitate abeing a woman, but still he is a skirt wearing man, on the very OTHER far side of skirt wearing, free clothing choice than the pure Manly skirt look. The heeled boots, how many men would like to wear them but just don't dare, or have the guts to? ...
It is not manly, as he is dressed, but he is not himself on this forum, is he?

We were talking about bulges and not discussing what a member had said, so no words about kiltys posting.

I find a bulge only happens when I wear certain flat fronted tight skirts, also with certain smooth surface textures, that hang straight down. Any other skirts, outward hanging, or with pleats, a non smooth surface, will not show or camouflage any bulge.

I find the lines that make some skirts look good, (when wearing skirts, there are sight lines created which make the look so good, and those lines are non existant with p*nts) are distracted by any other deviations, like a bulge. That is more like the unsightly effect of wearing p*nts or a skirt and propping the pockets full, creating an unsightly bulge, which breaks the otherwise pleasant lines, or it may look like the skirt is somehow sewn incorrectly or not fitting well. Like a minute dent in a shiny new car is terrible, a big crater in a old car full of them isn't interesting.

Don't worry about it. We are men, and wear skirts. As such we do show our body parts, and that is coherent with being a man. It may just take some time getting used to. To make an issue of hiding them is Senseless, and would make men's skirt wearing unnessecarily difficult.

I was going to buy a denim mini the other day, but there was a bulge, and it somehow detracted on the look, so I didn't buy. Maybe I will now reconsider. Women can show their breast form, it is something most people appreciate, whereas I at least don't conciously want to show my bulge, and think that normally men don't intentially show their bulge, but there may of course be men who want to show off ALL their muscles. :?

Just wear the skirts you wish, and if you don't like the way they look on you, wear something else.

Sporans may hide any bulge if present (without underpants!) and may also hide the absence of a bulge...  Although I would think that if wearing a true kilt, with the sturdy heavy material, many yards, that even without a sporan, nothing should be visible, unless very heavily built and arroused. :?

Some people seem to think others shouldn't lay the boot into such poor and obviously demented souls like "Kilty", but I'm on the side of them who enjoy "taking the piss" out of lunatic clowns like him...
:P

He's obviously been off his med's for too long..

Gentlemen,

One of the basic tenets of SkirtCafe is that we're supposed to show respect in the public fora; this thread has rather clearly crossed the bounds and I'm locking it.
