Skirtall

Post by JRMILLER »

Skip,
You need to look for a "Skirtall". It's a combination coveralls, with a skirt instead of trouser legs.

Ouch! Hope that you get over that quickly. Cracked ribs are one f those horrible injuries that don't show ansd so illicit very little sympathy but like back injuries they can be truly disabling.
Since1982 wrote:I had to go buy 2 pairs of "Farmer John" coveralls which have no restriction between my tits and knees to wear until my rib heals. I can't stand the trouser legs..AHHHGGG.
Sounds like you need to get your scissors and sewing machine out. Converting the coveralls into a skirted bottom end, just as you have done in the past with jeans, should leave you with a garment that suits your style and does not press against the injury.

Look after yourself and have fun,

Ian.

Well,
Friday night, it was the first christmas do from work. Ghillie shirt, kilt, sporran, hose etc. a good night, food poor, music normal lousy disco with a cd deck which played up, I was forced to get up on the dance floor and oscillate a bit.
Only saw one other kilted man, so thats Renfrew near Glasgow for you.
Still, I enjoyed it.

I'm wearing a green knee-length unisex nylon cargo skirt, a jersey knit long sleeve black shirt, black tights under black knee socks with white skull&crossbones on them and green camo ballet flats.

I get more comments on the socks than anything else.

Date back, does that mean you were born in the 60's or 70's or were young in those times?

Today, while not getting farther than a walk out to my canal for exercise, I wore a normal for me outfit and am still wearing it, light tropic blue, heavy cotton T-shirt, lower mid calf straight denim skirt with (for warmth)straight nylon slip, heavy wool socks and a new pair of leather work shoes that are warmer than sandals, which I wear most of the rest of the season. It's one of the coldest days we've had this season, brrr 62F brrrr.

Skip,
Born in '52. Young and foolish in the 60's and 70's.
