I wore my new denim cargo skirt out and about again today, third consecutive day. This was a more ambitious outing as I took my wife out in the car to a retail shopping outlet about forty miles from home where we spent more than four hours out and about in the mall and in and out of shops. The only comment I got was in the sports shop where I bought some soccer socks and the young lass who served me said that she liked my kilt. Nobody else noticed or showed any interest, which is just as it should be. My own comfort zone, as shown here, is for the hem of the skirt to be level with the top of matching knee socks but each will have their own preference. To anyone still trying to pluck up the courage to go out in a skirt I'd say again, just go for denim, you will be amazed how a denim skirt on a guy looks good and gains public acceptance. My wife, who wears trousers every day, says the skirt suits me really well and if I'm going to wear it often I should get another one so I have now ordered a black jeans skirt from Midas Clothing.
