Interesting that one can play lead, rhythm and bass guitar all on the same instrument - but it must be use with an amplifier.

I'm into acoustic guitars - can play anywhere and without needing electricity.

Maybe you need a harp guitar, then :-)

If you cross the Chapman Stick with a lap steel guitar, you get a harpejji.

Jacob Collier is known for playing the harpejji.

Certainly very interesting and they can be made to sound very versatile, embracing classical with it seems all other forms of musical diciplines.

The things don't look pretty, though and of course rely totally on amplification to be heard at any distance.

There's the traditionalist in me ranting on.....

I, myself play guitar, keyboards and synths and the chapman stick is the next instrument I’d like to master. Nick Beggs from 1980’s band Kajagoogoo plays one dressed in leather skirt as the below photo shows.
