I live in Munich and haven't worn a pair of trousers in over five years. Mostly nobody takes any notice, occasionally someone makes confused remarks about Scotland, occasionally I get enthusiastic compliments (the most enthusiastic was for a striking black and white striped dress, one of my favourites).

I have come across several MIS from Germany on social media and they indicate positive reactions. Not been to Germany myself but have to France a few times skirted and had no issues anywhere.
