Keto diet
I’ve been on a diet for the past month so I can start looking good in skirts and dresses and more importantly a kilt. Just now I have a big belly and when I dress up I look like a big guy in a skirt who is 9 months pregnant. The diet I’m on is the keto diet which reduces or cuts out all carbs and sugar. I haven’t noticed a difference yet but it takes time and looking forward to loosing the pounds in weight. Are there any other skirt wearers on this forum who are on diet plans?
My name is Arty. I’m a guy with a passion for wearing skirts, dresses and tights and a hobbiest musician and artist.

I wish you the best, Dr.F with your drastic dietary plans. I suppose with an unsightly belly any measure is worth trying. Trick is not to be impatient and stick at it even when for the first few weeks nothing seems to be happening.
Me, I've been adhering strictly to the Seefood Diet for some sixty-one years now. It means that when I see food I eat it, but in truth nowadays I need to be a little careful where I look! I reached my max. avoirdupois value at age 26 (87Kg) and it's still there at age 82.

Re: Keto diet
I tried keto for a while, and it was rough at the beginning, especially with cravings for bread and pasta. For me, consistency made the biggest difference. After a month or so, I did start seeing some changes in my stomach area, but it really kicked in after couple months and regular walking helped too. Wearing anything fitted felt way better once some of that bloat went down.

Re: Keto diet
I have tried Keto DrF. I found it quite easy at first and enjoyed swapping carbs for steak and eggs. A few weeks in and lost 5lb i was getting fed up and wanted to eat crackers. I got some serious cravings. Three weeks in and i started slipping, then it was over and I put the weight back on.
Ideally for my height I should be 12st 7lb, i went up to 14st 2lb . Now i do a bit of keto, i replace a lot the carbs with protein and I do the odd fast. I fast for 24hours once a fortnight if I can manage it. Fasting is quite good because it take the "what can I have?" out of the question.
Today I'm 13st 7Ib so 9Ib less than my heaviest. My waist line is a bit better and i can get into a smaller size which was vwry tight for a while.
