Thanks denimini and Barleymower.

The raspberry tights have still not arrived, so I tried a pink and dark blue combo with a black and pink gilet. The dark blue is my new OEAK Fleece Lined Jumpsuit, which keeps me reasonably warm although my arms were missing their puffy jacket outside. Not sure if the two pink items go together, but you have to try things out. What do we think? too much pink?

Looking good Mouse. Much more balanced.
I'm a little confused by the gilet. You describe a black and pink gilet but you are wearing what appears to be a rabbit fur gilet? No hint of pink.

I am pretty sure that no animals were harmed in the manufacture of my gilet. The pink is at the base of each hair of the fur so when you bend the material it opens up to show the underlying pink. I have to say that I was surprised that in the pictures I took, the gilet looks muck darker than I think it is in real life.
Is "rabbit fur" a technical type of faux fur?

Not sure about that Mouse. I once had a pair of rabbit fur mittens in about 1975. My mum had fox fur collar, my dad had a sheepskin jacket and my nan had a long mole overcoat. Times have changed.

Anyway I like the look Mouse, cool and trendy.

Btw my daughter has been shivering despite buying warm clothes. Since seeing your fleece lined body suit, I have bought one for her. She's very excited.

I hope she likes it. You are a great father! What colour did she go for?

Black to go with her school uniform. She stopped me on the landing "have you ordered the jump suit" I said no it's warming up now? She said she will wear it all through the rest of Jan and Feb. It's now ordered and will be here on Friday this week. Thanks for the tip Mouse 👍

Taking Barleymower's suggestion, a pair of Snag Raspberry Pie coloured tights has been purchased and worn on a trip to Tescos. I paired the tights with my maroon Onlymaker tall boots. What do we think?

People still raise rabbits for meat. The real rabbit fur is quite warm. I know vegetarians, but times haven't changed for everyone.

Way the most colourful mouse I've seen to date. Wouldn't have you on my stealth team, though. With that elevation you must be bangin' that hat on every door lintel. Not the sort of footwear I'd recommend for a trot round our grounds just now.

You must spend a fortune on your outfits, but others of us spend it on less outrageous things. I do however like the match those tights are to the skirt. Next time I venture out I won't be attracting so much attention!

It's a really good look Mouse. I had thought that maybe a lighter dusty pink might be what's needed but decided to wait and see. The darker raspberry tights and the maroon boots set the outfit off a treat.

The jump suit arrived yesterday and my daughter immediately dived in. Her hopes of wearing it to school were slightly dashed because she realised she would need to take most of her uniform off to use the toilet.

Update. She's wearing the suit to school, she says she can wait until she gets home 🤔
