Re: Dishdhasha, Man Dress!
Hello skirt Revolution and all others,
I am new here, but personally I do wear long skirts and dresses like Murray Dickor Jack Williams and Jeremy since 2005. It is the most comfortable garment what I ever had. The Dishdasha are very comfortable in Summer, but be aware, the cheap models offered in the internet are poliester and horrible to wear. Better Quality are foung in specialized shops in Dubai.
I am currently in Afrika and its a paradise for maxidresses and long skirts. I will post pictures soon
keep on the freedom of wearing skirts and dresses.

Re: Dishdhasha, Man Dress!
Welcome mate!
Yes, you are right. This dress is polyesta. A light, crepe-like finish one, but polyesta all the same.
As the (slightly modified by me) design is great, I'm getting an identical one made in better shirt type material.
I however wear it as an overdress over natural ones such as Silkbody that don't have pockets. This is just the length to meet the Silkbody and other long dresses I have.

Dear Jack Williams,
thank you for the welcome,
A similar garment to the dishdasha I found last week in Botswana in a small shop and I wear it here in pubilc and at home Botswana is a paradise for men who likes to wear dresses. There are so many dresses in offer and they are cheap.
best regards

That certainly looks a comfortable one all right.
I tried the East=essence light crepe-like finish polyesta dress straight on the bod this warm morning.
A good feel, and airy on it's own. Here's a shot.

Jack, this is a very nice one. It must be a great feel to wear this dress in summer
My favorite dress for hot days is this one And for the office, I wear in summer my long black A-line dress with jacket or short sleeve shirt. Its also great for long distance flights

This light denim one I've had some use out of in Summer, not least at WOMAD music festival.
Took this shot in it today.
The East-essence dress in this material would be supurb.
There's a shot at WOMAD which I'll try to dig up.
