Dishdhasha, Man Dress!
I am thinking about getting one of these "Dishdhasha" for around the house. Does anyone else have one and can tell what they are like. It looks lightweight and good for the summer. I use to wear a Kurta in India and they wear so comfy.

Re: Dishdhasha, Man Dress!
I did have one many years ago when I worked overseas in Libya - mid 80's. (We called it a dishdash there - but it's the same thing)
Yes it is as comfortable as it looks and not sweaty at all - ideal for summery weather. It is very like a full length cotton shirt (and yes I do mean shirt). I'm sure I don't have it now but I would never have thought of wearing it in the UK - not enough warm sunny days here for that!

I like the idea of garments that hang from the shoulders, but I already hate the term "man dress."

Forget the title, it is what it is.
If it fits and is comfortable, wear it or leave it.

I have one - I bought it in an Asian shop in Scotland. It is very comfortable but there is a LOT to iron! It is very comfortable, and has small hip pockets to carry money and keys (but not much else). It is a sort of polyester material though - I would prefer cotton for the hot weather, and then you could wear one in bed in winter - polyester would be too sweaty.
