Tights and the "necessary" visit

I'd concur with the "thumb down your undies" approach (much as you would with mens undies without a fly) or alternatively, buy mens hosiery with a built in fly. Activskin, Gerbe, Doyeah all sell mens tights (deniers ranging from 8 to 80) with a fly built in.

Having been wearing tights all week at work, and having to make regular visits to the toilet, I bought 3 pairs of hold-ups yesterday: M&S Autograph, 60 denier. Brilliant! Now I'm at work in a knee length skirt, I'm comfortably warm and I have the freedom to pee!

I work in an academic library, and my managers and the University are fully suportive of my legwear choices. I'm skirted most days. Ahhh the freedom.

I work in an academic library, and my managers and the University are fully suportive of my legwear choices. I'm skirted most days.

Amazingly, I suspect it's more down to how confident and adventurous we are as individuals that may be the determiner in this case.

I wear skirts to work every so often and have since a heat-wave that we had this past summer where to save energy my Company turned the A/C down (temperature "up") a couple of notches. I've carried that style into winter with tights and heavier skirts than I wore during the summer. No problems.

I make my income on my computer selling Google ads all over the internet, and when I go out to the store or local lounge for a friendly game of pool or to Bingo on Sunday nights when it's not nearly as COLD as it is today. I'm always skirted unless I absolutely HAVE to go outside when the temp is setting more records like today. It's NEVER been 49F at 1:30 pm est in the keys. A new record again. Once people get used to seeing you in a skirt and tights, if they see you in pants they wonder what's wrong..

I have discovered that if you wear tights or pantyhose with a skirt, and whether you sit or stand , it is a best practice to pull the hose down prior to utilizing the facility. I don't see how far up the hose go affects this necessary procedure.

What goes up, must come down.
