Miniskirt gets grounded

Not that I could watch this clip because of some problem on my pc, but apparently it's a news item about a woman's miniskirt which was too revealing, and how she was pulled from a Southwest Airlines flight!

This is the riposte from a fashion forum which thought the airline went too far and ridiculed the whole affair. And anyway, apparently the end result was she flew as she was dressed; the airline said they had no dress code and she could have flown in a bikini top if she had wished.

The video wouldn't play for me either. My laptop seemed to download it OK - and it began playing, or at least the indicator was moving, but the video screen was blank. It also froze my browser when I tried to stop it.
Anyhow - I read the short article and at first I assumed the woman was an airline employee - so it was a huge shock to realise that she was just a passenger.
"Keith" has now been transferred to the local office in Dogville, Tx.

Can we substitute man and he? Or is there another double standard? OK - substitute tee shirt for the bikini top...but this is America and if a girl wants to board an airplane wearing a mini skirt, a bikini top and a football helmet, she should be able to. Who cares?

If I want to dress like a woman, I'll wear jeans.

A slow news day.
Yes, that sorry story ran yesterday on CNN. I hope it drives away some of Southwest's business. You don't treat customers that way if you want to keep them as customers.iain wrote:[...] it's a news item about a woman's miniskirt which was too revealing, and how she was pulled from a Southwest Airlines flight!
As far as the outfit being "offensive", I see vastly worse every day at work. At least her outfit was reasonably well put together.
