Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. Back from Vegas, Busted out of the "Seniors" tournament I entered for a buy-in of $1,000.00...O well...bad beat city. I did get a few pictures of me there and here they are. Not allowed to take flash camera pictures in the main tournament areas. One will be used from now on as my avatar...A dealer for the World Series Of Poker tournaments is walking right in front of me as a friend snapped the photo, I was saying "WAIT till she clears the screen". The nice lady taking the picture said, "What" and took it anyway. All the dealers there carry big plush cushions to sit on for the hours and hours they deal poker. My blue Lane Bryant straight skirt can be seen clearly in the pictures taken. Another picture will be shown in a future post of me in a Orange long sleeved T-shirt and a black LB straight skirt standing among a group of Full Tilt Poker.com Poker Celebrities. As they are all dressed in black, I at least showed up in my black skirt. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I am looking forward to doing it again next year or sooner. In the 3rd picture, I'm not sure whether the guy behind me was eating something or sucking his thumb. :)People do strange things sometimes after being busted out of a tournament.

Here's a shot of the Team Full Tilt and me. Clonie Gowen, Chris Ferguson, Mike "The Mouth" Matesow, John Juanda, Phil Ivey, Phil Gordon, Erick Lindgren, Erik Seidel (featured in the televised Johnny Chan win as the loser in the movie "Rounders", announcer says "YES, he's going all in and Johnny Chan has him"...Not Erik Seidel's favorite movie.), Andy Bloch(The originator of the Blackjack team from MIT that nearly broke Bally's casino about 10 years ago. They were the card counters that made it into a science), Jennifer Harman, Howard Lederer and MEEEEEEEEE....Since they are all dressed mostly in black, I wore my black straight skirt and a long sleeved orange T-shirt and my most comfortable but old looking loafers. You can't see the shirt was orange as the picture is in black and white. My hair is not cut, but in a ponytail. You can see these professionals pictured at http://www.fulltiltpoker.com without me..LOL :ninjajig:
