There are many school uniform sites located in the USA that carry PE skirts. Just do a Google for school uniforms, etc.

These running skirts are more expensive, but designed for exercise and come in adult sizes:

Mark, a runner and blogger, has a review of his running skirt at:

running kilts

Post by Since1982 »

those aren't really kilts, where's the pleats that make a kilt a kilt? Those are just wrap skirts. All wrap skirts are not kilts and all skirts called kilts are not kilts either. It's a nice item. With those slits on the sides for ease of running but if they are kilts they are the first kilts ive ever seen with side slits and no pleats.
I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.

Skip - that was one of my first questions. It would be classified as a athletic mini skirt. But from what I can tell they probably named it "kilt" simply for marketing purposes, i.e.the kilt name is there to show that it is targeted for men.

That's precisely what Scott had in mind. He's a great guy. I own two of his products and he does good work.

I have a couple of pleated games/netball skirts (one blue, one white).
I bought them from Cardiff Sportsgear.
These are a REAL sportswear shop, not a fashion shop.
They sell everything. Their other branch sells jodpuhs (SP?) but that's another story.

When I bought my skirts, I was in a netball team. I went in and asked for one. They weren't on display. The staff were amazing and very helpful.
They even allowed me to try a couple on. I was wearing a T-shirt with my team's name on it, which added to their helpfulness :)

a limited site is
