Oops! I did it again!

Went out for the second time in pair of plaid skorts. This time I made a point to visit with people. Not many reactions, but there was one interesting one. I stopped in store and the cashier stated, "That is a cute skirt!" I quickly explained that they were just plaid skorts (I'm sure she could tell that anyway...) but I have a number of skirts at home. We talked for awhile about the peasant skirts that are so fashionable now. I told her that I have one in burgandy and she said, "Wow... I'd love to see it sometime. I think it so important that people express themselves."

Anyways, it was a great confidence booster. To tell the truth, I am enjoying these "baby steps" although I know some of you prefer to just go ahead and take "the plunge." Next time I will wear one of my skorts with the flap on the front and shorts on the back. Then, probably a full kilt.

One thing I noticed about my skorts is that they have a satin "liner" that is kind of interesting. It definately makes the fabric slide a bit, thought it is a bit audible at times....
