where can a man find a good skirt these days?

Post by kabbak »

i have already mentioned this in passing on a couple of threads, but i thought i would take the opportunity as i start my own to say that i have only in the past month or so discovered the option of unbifurcated garments for men. though i already have 2 kilts, 2 sarongs and 4 skirts i am interested in advice on where else i can find other articles.

perhaps i should preface the request by saying that i consider myself a 'braveheart', id est, i am open to the idea of kilts and other garments designed for men. one particular interest is the AMOK line of skirts. many of their syles intrigue me, but neither their website nor their supplier links offer online ordering. i wondered if any of you gents could redirect my search there, or offer other keywords/websites that might yield more options than the standard links.

thank you all for your input up to now, it's probably made this post much shorter than it might have been.

Where to find a good skirt?

Post by Mary Jane Boy »

Start in the Ladies department!

I find most (all) of mine in the Jr's department. Fortunately for me they make a lot of cute skirts up to size 15 & 17 these days. Kohl's is a particularly good place to start and everything is 50% off daily (it seems)! Marshalls & TJ Maxx are also very good and inexpensive.

thank you for the tips thus far.

i just thought i'd share some of what i've found. the following is an ebay store with several options for skirts designed for men (among <ahem> other things. i, for one, will be happy to one day see men in skirts not seen as a 'fetish'):

http://stores.ebay.de/Barbarella-Store

in case it iterests anyone else a lot of what is available on ebay.de is not offered on the U.S./UK sites, you might try the following searches there:

mannerrock or herrenrock (men's skirts)

herrenwickelrock (men's skirts)

rock fur ihn/mann/manner/herr/herren (various forms of skirt for him/man/men)

if anyone is aware of other versions of ebay with similar diamonds in the rough, well, it was my intention for starting this thread . . .
