Women’s long shirt

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

Women’s long shirt

Post by DrFishnets »

I have been looking for a long white shirt for a long time and was in my local Home Bargains and seen a lovely white cotton long womens shirt in size 18 to 20. Since gaining the confidence in wearing skirts in public it’s helped me pluck the courage buying womens clothes in shops on my own and I bought it. The girl at the cash desk was very nice and didn’t ask me anything personal about buying a woman’s item of clothes. I felt really good and tried it on when I got home and it is lovely. The sleeves are really strange and baggy as if there is no sleeves if that makes sense and the shirt goes down to my knees. The shirt looks good with my leggings.

It feels good to have and execise the freedom to select whatever clothing items you want without concern for what others may think, I know. May I ask if there was any reason you didn't try it on in the store?

There wasn’t any changing rooms in the store as it’s a supermarket. Anyway, I knew it would fit me anyway as it was size 18 to 20 amd my size ranges from sizes 20 to 24.

The women’s white long shirt I bought is a bit strange. There are no arms or sleeves as it looks like a poncho or cape that buttons up like a shirt at the front. When I wear a waste coat on top it gives the illusion that the shirt has short baggy sleeves. With it being thin cotton it’s a bit see through.

That sounds like an interesting outfit. I have considered a few shirt dresses but have not yet found something that I would feel comfortable wearing.
