I bought this off eBay I keep an eye out for them they are kind of rare. When I received it and tried to put it on to my dismay a large would not come past my thighs so I cut it down the middle of the back and added enough matching fabric for it to fit. I also made a sporran type pouch to match. Not a kilt but very masculine.

You can always use a seam-ripper to remove the errant stitching and re-do it.

Nice rig, by the way, and very definitely goth.

Yeah I could, however it's a decorative stitch and I don't want to mess with it. I like it. Very comfy, I've designed my own kilt so now I'm gunna try my hand at making something similar to this. My daughter want me to make her one too. I bought a second for my wife that is similar black with red thread goth skirt, so we can match.

You are evidently handy with a sewing machine, which goes a long way--especially with economy! Also it's good to see you have a wife happy to be seen with you skirted, which some on this board, unfortunately, don't have that pleasure. It sure is a bummer when an eBay purchase doesn't fit, however in my case, my other half has a slightly smaller waist size than I do, so she usually gets most mistakes and, now I have a 14 year old granddaughter, a couple of real size mistakes have gone her way. ANYWAY

I met my misses while workin as a ride superviser on a carnival. She wasn't even interested until she found out I wore a kilt, I asked her if she wanted to hang out and we've been like super glue ever since. She totally supports me in almost anything I do. She the most awesome woman In the world.

She sure is I was sick with a migraine this morning she put me back to sleep got up got my boys up and dressed found one with a fevor doctored him put him back to bed and took the other two to breakfast at school. She's so awesome.
