We're having nice little steaks tonight. Going out tomorrow. Actually, Carl's big day is January 10. If he's good, he might get some Arrogant Bastard and some pistachios.

Thanks, lads, for your well wishes and good-natured jabs. They're appreciated.

This is the first time I've actually woken up on my birthday and felt older -- and I don't much like it. This may be down to the fact that I may "have something" at the moment and just feel sort of "punky" all over. I hope it passes.

And I managed to get myself banned -- permanently, natch -- from one of the technical forums I try to help other folks out on without so much as a hint of why. Oh, well; life goes on.

Hey Uncle Al,
Happy b-day to you in advance. Friday, I'll be heading out 70 miles west to show 3 hens at the Northeast Poultry Congress and will not be able to wish you a happy happy.

10 years older??? That means I'm still the old lady. 62 and counting! Woo Hooo. Have no clue what 62 means.

Greg, Phil, and Gary, do not feel badly for missing my birthday. Of the 5+ billion souls on this little rock we inhabit, those that really count to me know, and if they happen to forget I am perfectly forgiving.

Thanks. Really.
