Toemageddon 2011!
http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/wed-a ... nt-to-hell
I saw this on The Daily Show last week when I was channelsurfing. While I've seen quite a bit of positive response (or even just non-response) on the internet with regards to this story, The Daily Show showed some of the more negative attention this garnered around the news front, particularly an article written by Fox News pundit Dr. Keith Ablow, which can be seen here: http://www.foxnews.com/health/2011/04/1 ... -identity/
I suppose it's good that an ad like this can spark some debate about fashion freedom, but perhaps also a bit unfortunate that something as insignificant as nail polish is enough to cause that debate. It also seems to me like people are on completely different wavelengths with regards to this story too. Some people talk about gay/transgender isues, while other people will simply comment on the clothing/fashion angle. While the former has no place on this forum, the later certainly does, which is why I've posted this. It just seems that for a lot of people clothing is still seen as deeply related to gender/sexuality, and this is something we are trying to change here, yeah?

The core of it is that they're doing something unexpected. When people meet something unexpected, a common reaction is fear and, in the words of Yoda, “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.”
Sadly, we're not all as wise as Yoda.
Paul.

Interesting...I went to that site and my anti-virus said it had destroyed a bad virus and I should never go there again. I won't.

I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.
