I am still alive

Post by RokSterNL »

Dear skirtfriends,

It is a long time ago I have visited this forum.

My life is another life than when I have registrated me.

For three years ago my parents died.
My father in January 2008 and my mother in March 2008. She stayed in a nursing-home for 7 years after a stroke.

In June 2008 after research I have got the message that I have a kind of autism. Syndrome of Asperger, but afterwards the diagnostic was Multiple Development Disorder, that is also a kind of autism in this disorder spectrum.

I have no girlfriend, in spite of I have a transgender identity. That is also a pity. Not about my transgender identity, but the missing of a girlfriend.

Sometimes it is very hard to survive with my handicap. You can't avoid some situations, and that gave/give me stress. Sometimes I become (very) angy. It is a symptome of the autism disorder.

The only thing that is not change, is that I wear skirts and other clothing without problems in my situations with friends and other relatives. My both parents were very modern in their thinking about my skirts and other clothing.

I still miss them every day.

It is not certain that I can write here permanent, but I would like to be a member of your skirtcafe.org

Don't delete my account, please ?

Okay. Sometimes when member didn't post the forum will be cleared up.

I am moderator on the dutch skirt for men forum: http://www.rokvoormannen.nl/forum/index.php

We cleared up the forum, when people registrated themself, but didn't post one message.

But when people post one message the member will be activated.

:welcome: back Rocksternl... Grieving over loved parents never ends. I lost my dad at 52 in 1967 and lost my Mom to Alzheimer's in 1999 at age 84, but I still miss both of them as if it happened yesterday. :welcome:
I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.

I have a lot of sympathy for your losses in your life.
Just being transgendered alone is hard for most people to handle.
Sudden death of loved ones just makes it all worse.
After nearly 20 years I still miss my parents and aften wish I could talk to them once again.
For one thing, as I have growna nd gotten older over the years I have come across many new questions Ihave thought of that I would have liked to ask them. Things I really should have talked to them about but never did. And only they could have answered my questions or shared insights with me into my childhood and things I only half remember.
But I supect that is true of most of our lives. We don't take the time when we are younger and so busy just living life. And then later it's too late!
But please stay in touch here. Everyones thought and ideas are valuable, wether we know it or not.

Thanks guys for your sympathy.

I will try to come back as soon as possible, because Freestyle Fashion and skirts are too important purposes to fight for.

My English in grammar will have mistakes, because I am not an English person. For me it is a second language.

I hope you will understand in spite of the mistakes in grammar I will make what I mean.

My fathers nephew and his wife life in Canada for more than 50 years. I have been there together with my dad in 2003. We have got positive response on the way we spoke the English language. It was for me a pity to left Canada after a couple of weeks. I like Canada very much. It is one of my second home countries. But now I have no money to go again, because I have a dole for invalid people. I hope you have read about my kind of autism.

Have mercy with me, when I make a mistake in my grammar.

Greetings,

Hi RokSterNL,

Good to read you online again, though I am sorry to learn of the trials in your life.

Do not worry about your grammer or spelling; I certainly won't be going after your English grammer until my command of the Dutch language is at least as good as your ability in English, so you're very safe from me. I expect other forum users will be equally polite.

As for your account here, no accounts will be deleted if they have ever posted (unless the user requests it) so you are part of our history here forever.

Have fun,

Ian.

Hi RokSterNL,
It's good that there are contributers to this forum whose first language is not English. I find your prose perfectly readable and understandable. I regularly correspond with a very old Swiss friend who I met in London & whose Engish is very colourful and amusing in places.
I myself spent eight years living and working in Germany and still correspond with several German friends. No doubt they find my attempts at written German prose quite amusing, too. While there I learned colloquial German, or 'Umgangsprache'. When I had to write to a professional colleague or my accountant or my agent or bank manager I passed all my letters to my receptionist/secretary who translated them into official grammatically correct German, which I will never master.

I am sorry to learn of your personal losses and difficult life journey, but be assured you have friends here. I enjoyed the picture of the skirted get-together in Holland which was posted on this forum a little while ago. I believe you were the convener.
