Back and recouperating

This morning I had oral surgery to remove the remnants of my upper
'eye' teeth. I get to be on a soft/liquid diet for the next 7 days.
No carbonated beverages. Of course, I'm taking the 'meds' for pain
and avoiding infections.

Probably in January or February, I'll have to have the remaining upper
crown and the last molar removed thus eliminating my upper partial
and getting a new full set for the uppers.

Time - Time, always the wrong time when this stuff happens.

The good news that I would like to tell you is, I have a part-time job
I get to play, errr....work in the train department at HobbyTown USA.
Finally doing something I really enjoy

Dammit, Al, it would have been nice to save some warning about this! (And if the "smiley" isn't enough, I assure everybody that the comment is made with tongue firmly in cheek!)

You're lucky they don't have you on the "bland diet". I can deal with soft (somewhat, so long as it doesn't violate consistency taboos), but bland? I'll be checking out of this hotel if you don't mind!

Oral Surgery...Isn't that one of those preachers who stands in a huge tent begging people for their money in exchange for miracles??
