Thank-you folks and Happy Birthday to you too Skip.

Today is one of those dates I'm told I should dread... the half century (Gulp!) but I feel no different to yesterday, apart from a slight lingering woolliness in my head that probably has a lot to do with drinking Scotch only half my age.

I have to confess to a certain amount of smugness that my mum feels my age more keenly than I do; apparently it is very ageing to have a fifty year old son.

Have fun,

Ian.

Yeah:

"*"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MILFMOG"*"

But I don't think it is number 69 !

"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

Happy Birthday, Ian, and welcome to your next half-century. I cross that mark in a little over two months' time.

I'll add my greetings to this thread too. I've put it in somewhere else as well. It's not everyday you celebrate your '0ld crock' milestone, Milfmog. Many happy returns.
....and to our John 'Skip'-Since 1982. Glad you're around to read all these wellwishes. Have a seriously good 69th!

I need to jump in here and wish you both a Happy Birthday, too. Good to have you guys around and thanks for the helps along the way.

By the way, my kids are 44 and such. It does make you realize how old you are...

What really makes me feel oldER is Milfmog is turning 50 and had they lived, my twin boys would be turning 50 in April. I look at Ian and imagine having 2 old men as sons. That pain has lessened with age, I still miss Caroline as if it had happened yesterday. It was, without a doubt the best 17 years of my life..catch you all later. :blue:
