Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
This is hoping that our member Jack Williams, located in Auckland, NZ
is OK. The national evening news just advised of a 7.? earth quake in
New Zealand. The pic's of the quake show extensive destruction. So far
there have been no Tsunami warnings for the rest of the South Pacific.
I hope you will join me in wishing that the people of New Zealand are
safe and well.

When asked 'Why the Kilt?'
I respond-The why is F.T.H.O.I. (For The H--- Of It)
I heard the news of the 'quake in New Zealand and almost immediately thought of Jack, but if my memory serves me correctly he's on the North Island.
In any event, my thoughts are with those who had their world shaken today. Living on the Ring of Fire may be exhilarating, but it comes with a price. Best wishes to all our Kiwi friends.
