Not exactly 'in the news' but imho about time someone gave us blokes the ability to cheat like half the women seem to be doing these days:

I'd rather the shirt/t-shirt top they did was some kind of bodysuit myself - to stop it riding up - and you'll not ever catch me in boxers - ruddy uncomfortable.

The guys in those photos have such obvious core strength, they have no need for these undergarments.
