I've seen a woman in a skirt

Post by quackers »

Shock horror - yesterday I saw a woman in a skirt. Very unusual given the hot weather at the moment but there she was. Didn't even seem to care what people thought about her even though 99.9% of her fellow women were wearing pants / trousers.

Has anyone else seen a woman in a skirt? What did they think?

That's fairly normal actually, to see women in skirts in the Summertime when it's hot inside trousers and cool and breezy under a skirt. :hide:
I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.

The same thing happened to me - only it was a woman in a lightweight cotton dress. She was with four other women who all were wearing pants. Then something unusual happened ---- the wind picked up! The wind caught the hem of the dress and it fluttered in the breeze! No one seemed to notice except me! Whatever is the world coming to?

But I get your point, quackers, women care less about who sees them wearing what. Too bad men don't seem to have the same freedoms. People are shocked if we step out of the box and wear whatever we like.

Hopefully this will provide some comfort: Since Carl has started wearing skirts, I wear them more frequently.

I tend to reserve pants for messy chores and cold weather.

I get your point, Quackers, and it's a good one.

Yesterday it was 103 degrees here in North Texas, I was at a huge, sprawling Flea Market ... I saw thousands of people, not one single man but me in a skirt and only a couple of women in skirts or dresses, amazing. It was a perfect day for a skirt, 10 mph steady breeze, hot as Hell, and lots of folks were saying to me things like, "I'll bet you are cool in that skirt." I'd just smile and say, "Damned straight, it's got built in air conditioning!"

I really don't get the whole pants thing on women, particularly blue jeans ... I just don't get it.

Kilt ON!
