Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.

P.S. - Skirt 1 is OK, Skirt 2 is better and Skirt 3 is way to short for me.

M. P.:
I like number 1 in the darker color.
Number 2 is nice but the hem length is too much for me.
As for number 3 - yes definitely something for summer or a climate
south of France - think of a warm sunny setting. Like the full
skirt effect with wide the flouncing hem and neat pleats - classed
just short of a cheerleaders skirt.
Will have to do a detail search to see the sizes available and the
waist closings (elastic-zipper-button-etc.)
Thanks for opportunity to share an opinion.
Sorry don't know how to fix links-website issue.

"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !
Uncle Al: Thanks for the tip- you learn something everyday
I have quite short legs, so skirt 3 wouldn't be as short on me as it is on the picture. I like that one but it would definately be reserved for summer (and maybe the odd night out at the students' union ) and I'd definately have to do something with my legs to pull that one off. Can't really decide whether or not I like the denim one (skirt 2), and in any case, the sizes they have in stock are way to large for me so maybe I'll just get the other 2 for now. According to their sizing chart, I think I need a size 10 or 12 as my waist is about 28".
I'd definitely choose #1. The zipper fly and the belt loops give it a masculine look, and there appears to be a side kick pleat which would allow freedom of movement.
However, each to their own personal preference.

I'm about a 44-46" waist.

It has its drawbacks- I really struggle to get jeans that fit Most places pretty much stop at 32", with the odd 30". Only a few places I've found have any in 28". Maybe I'll have a look through the womens next time... that's if I don't become a total skirt convert before then
I like number 1, skirt 2 is ok but not sure about the pleats and I m not keen on 3, just too short, unless you are blessed with better legs than most males!

Alright, alright, you're all just jealous
I reckon I'll get skirt 1 and 3 (#3 is 46cm long, so should come to just above my knee, despite what you'd think from the picture) wear #1, and just break out #3 occasionally until it gets a bit warmer
I'm currently wearing a fairly lightweight pleated skirt that hits me just above the knees. Was quite comfortable tonight, even though temperatures are only about 40 degrees F. Granted, I am wearing fairly heavy wool kneesocks as well. As long as you've warm legwear and keep your torso warm, I don't think you'll have issues wearing #3 in the winter.
grr... looking again today, it seems like the darker version of skirt 1 has somehow vanished.
Now, I'm not keen on the lighter colour, but hows this in the darker colour for an alternative? It's not the same, but still along the right sort of lines.
