A thought on dancing, and clubs, or being social M vs. F
Something I was thinking about, why are girls so comfortable say going to a club and dancing with each other and holding hands, yet most guys wouldn’t want to be caught dead holding another guy’s hand or dancing with him?
Most women/girls also go to clubs just to have fun, and guys go there to try and get the women, maybe this Is just the natural procreation of the species but it seems strange. I wonder if as many guys would get hit on or approached if they had no interest or desire in hitting on anyone, and just went to have fun.
It might be simply because of an over discussed topic of women not being afraid of being judged.

From the few contra dance snippets I've seen online there are men that get past the posturing and dance with another man. Presumably they aren't all dancing with their date. For dance clubs though I think part of the difference comes in how each group views what a good time is. My guess is the women have a good time being with their friends and meeting a male to dance with is optional while many men probably find dancing with a woman making the night a good one. Then there's the social facet of some men finding bi and lesbian women a turn on so there isn't a stigma to it. Two uninvolved men dancing together however is going to be rare enough that it will be a turn off to some of the girls who read too much into it or be a boon for the men who attract interest from women for being so comfortable with themselves.
