Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
Well, the advert says "If you love comfort" and "Warm weather bliss" so how could I resist? Actually, I do need some new ones - for work, you understand .
I bought them from Cotton Traders who have a range of trousers ... to be precise, 87 for the women, and a mere 50 for the men Men have less choice even in the traditional male garment
On most of the pages, they advise that the products advertised include "items that can be worn by both men and women". Oddly, the only page not to have this caveat is ... women's skirts. Why?
Firstly Charlie there is no need to apologise. The fact that you like to wear skirts does not mean that you should never wear trousers.

Probably because their sizes are too limited... or am I giving them too much credit?
Have a fun weekend,

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. The scuba diving trip that I had scheduled for tomorrow has already been cancelled, something to do with easterly winds blowing six and gusting to eight. It does not cause a problem under the water but climbing back up a ladder wearing 100Lbs of equipment with the boat pitching and rolling in heavy swell can be "entertaining"...
Have fun,
Ian.

It's nice to just choose what you wear without obligation.
My wife has just ordered a Scotland National tartan 8 yard kilt for me, as a belated birthday present. It should be more comfortable than the denim kilt that I have. I still wear trousers for work, either kilt or shorts at weekends and towelling sarongs in the house. I might pluck up courage to wear the new kilt to work when it arrives (August).
3-Did you wear kilts or skirts during your holiday?

Thanks for the link. Al.
The holiday was a public bank holiday and, in true British tradition on these days, the rain was horizontal. Wet bank holidays are something of a national joke. We didn't go boating. However, we've (wife and I) been out on the boat before with me in a modern kilt. In fact, the last time was when we were moving the boat to its new moorings (it's my son's boat - too expensive for me ). I had to go back up the canal to fetch the car. As it was several miles, I rode a bike - in a kilt. Bike riding in a kilt is one of the most comfortable, liberating and fun things I've done
