Off Line-Internet Problems

Post by Uncle Al »

To All Skirted/Kilted patrons of the Cafe'.

I'm having 'puter problems. The ISP won't be able to
check on it until Monday. Line problems of some-such.
My inlaws, across the alley behind us, are OK internet
speaking. 100 feet away, and we have problems. If I
know the ISP, they will try to blame it on my computers
and my wireless network. Haven't changed a blasted thing
except to upgrade my service from 5mb to 10mb download
speed. I'm currently on a laptop, and my fat fingers are
not used to a laptop. ARRRRRRRRGH!

To All--Have a wonderful weekend!

Update

Post by Uncle Al »

Well....... :blue:

Hooray!!!!!!!!!

Found out that I didn't have line problems. The cable modem,
that I rent from the cable company, went south on me. It served
its purpose for 5 years. Now the new modem is in place, and I'm
getting the full down-load speed that I just upgraded to.

Now this thing is fast! :thewave:
