An interesting skirt on e-bay

Post by cessna152towser »

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Size-20-Playboy-B ... 1638.m118.
I think these are marketted towards ladies who want to look manly, though the seller does helpfully also give the man's waist size in his listing.
It would seem to have all the necessary ingredients of a man's skirt - rough denim material, a front zip fly, pockets and loops for a trouser belt - can't lose at that price.

not a bad looking skirt, but i'm not sure having the playboy bunny on your posterior gives a masculine message.

just a thought...

The bunny logo appears on various items of mens clothing as well as womens clothing from Playboy Bunny Shop - one could always team this skirt with a Playboy t-shirt and boxers! I don't see how wearing the bunny logo would challenge one's masculinity.

bunny

I am past caring what image the bunny gives. A denim skirt at that price is worth having.

And I am past caring whether a skirt (or any article of clothing) makes me look "masculine."

No matter what I wear, I'm not gonna be mistaken for a woman, not even in a dark alley at night. Whether I want to or not.

If that doesn't count as "looking masculine," I don't know what does.

So I guess I'll just dress to have fun....

P.S.: The skirt in question doesn't match my idea of fun. But you'd probably figure that out without my help if you looked at my pics.

I find the bunny logo offensive, but at that price, I'd just remove the logo.

bunny logo

Post by knickerless »

I am not sure if it is a Bunny logo representing the Bunny club or if it is just a rabbit. I can't blow the picture up anymore to see clearly. But at the end of the day - I won't be able to see it where it is and I expect I will be sitting on it most of the time anyway.

In reply to cessna152towser re bunny T-shirt and boxers - I have never seen either - I would not mind a bunny t-shirt but I would certainly not wear boxers - I never wore them under trousers and I certainly would not wear them under a skirt.

Sequin Removal

Post by cessna152towser »

Image
The seamstress put a patch on the first skirt, where I had damaged the pocket in removing the sequins, for which she charged £2.50. She was able to remove the sequins from the second skirt without damage by applying a hot iron in the pocket to soften the glue, for which she only charged a further £1, and here is the result.
