Yahoo Answers-Men in Skirts/Kilts

Post by Uncle Al »

Well, I did not come back here to get the link since I saved the
main page at Yahoo Answers. When I tried to find it, I first ended
up with 5300+ possibilities. :x I next searched for Men in Skirts.
Ended up with 71 possibilites. :) Many of these items were posted
10 months to 5 years ago. I did see one posted by our old friend
Noodles. Anyway, with all of these 'questions' out there, who will
see these? What 'Fashion-ista' will take any interest? Are we
allowed to compile these 'questions' and 'answers' into a letter/form/
document to be taken/given to Fashion Designers? Old cousin Bubba?
Agent 007? ( Oh-That's Sean Connery-he wears kilts anyway. :D )

It seems that there is a higher percentage of people For men in skirts/kilts than
Against. The one's that were against, you could tell, were either trouble makers,
or people showing their ignorance. (Their spelling is terrible!)
[ Maybe mine is bad too! :D ]

OK-I've just put a fresh plate of meat on the table.
Who will add any vegatables, fruit, wine, or desert to this feast?

Anyone????????????

I think you are very right! Most people are in favour of good and healthy things and self expression and so on. Why shouldn't they be in favour of freedom?

The people who are against such things usually have more volatile energy and are keen to promote themselves as much as their opinions. Which means they make a bigger stink in the short term but in the longer term the cooler heads get their way.

If we expect everyone to be sane and non judgemental we're going to be disappointed all our lives, and probably never try anything new for fear some gatemouth will trash us. I've found people very accepting of most things! And sometimes the people who are against skirts have their own reasons, like a girl I knew who hated attention being drawn to her or people around her.

I think you are on the money!
The only thing man cannot endure is meaninglessness.

There is a troublemaker on http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/board/index.php who repeatedly insults and ridicules anyone who suggests the idea of men in skirts or any type of men's fashion freedom. He logs in under the dubious name of "Alf Huckham". He appears to live in or near West Sheffield (UK) and works in or near Chesterfield. I suspect that he has other log in names too. Be on your guard, as he is likely to try to cause trouble here. Fortunately Skirtcafe is a well moderated site, whereas Femalefirst doesn't appear to be moderated. As stated by others above, people like Alf are not adverse to using swear words and insults etc.
