When I say I’m going to give up Men’s Fashion Freedom this doesn’t mean I’m giving up my dress wearing ways & I still believe that if it’s socially acceptable for women to wear trousers then it should be socially acceptable for men to wear dresses.
I still believe that there should be fashion equality between the genders!
But I’m fed up with people confusing Men’s Fashion Freedom with crossdressing, I’ve never worn a dress or a pair of platform boots because I find it sexually arousing. But maybe I should I be honest as to why I really do it, which is firstly because its no secret I’ve been diagnosed with gender dysphoria & I need to express that femininity in me in some manner & secondly I’m at heart an individualistic & I’ve always expressed the mantra f**k the mainstream.
Of course there others with gender dysphoria for one reason or another are unable too fully transition but take up being a girl at the weekend. I’m unable to do that not because it’s well too expensive but because I need people to see that I don’t feel male. Okay that doesn’t have to entail piercings, tattoos & pink hair, but since I was a kid I’ve always been interested in Punk, Goth & alternative fashions.
Yep my confession that other then having gender dysphoria I’ve been interested in looking like everybody else, nope not interested in in looking like a chav or a corporate shill.
Anyways in hindsight building an alternative fashion site purely on the philosophy of Men’s Fashion Freedom was something of a mistake. Sure is a bit of a niche but it sounds as if it’s purely aimed at men & to be honest its only going to attract a very small minority of men.
I’m talking about having commercial sense here & when it comes to having commercial sense its far better to be able to appeal to the wildest field without becoming a corporate shill, so I’m going to set up a new site which MFF will be part of but overall its going to be about alternative fashions.
Just a question as to when I get the time
