Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
Marc Jacobs is a New York fashion designer, and apparently doing well at it. Mr Jacobs also designs skirts for men and "walks the talk" by wearing his creations out and about ( good on ye, laddie)
"You can see for yourself that it is not an attractive design ........ this essentially feminine dressing style." Not attractive? Essentially feminine? A bit like jeans are unatrractive and essentially masculine, Miss Mukherjee??
He's definitely not new, but I believe one of the rare to keep on working on this skirting idea. And one of the rare designers that actually creates the stuff that you can wear as a normal garment.
