Waste Clothes??

so think men and women should mixed as share clothes in all one dept in any shops instead od split each for men in upstair dept and women deptin the ground floor that still waste of money sitting on hanger so time need to be change and put mixed it and men can buy skirt more... dont you think it good idea if it happen to be change??

well I think part of the problem is with stuff being 'fashionable' (whatever that means) for one 'season' then the fashion-conscious will go out and buy whatever is next season's thing. If people would just wear what they liked, there wouldn't be so much waste. Combining everything together in the store would be a good ideal though

A big part of the problem is the fact that much of the clothing coming from Asia is so poorly made that it wears out, shrinks, fades, and tears so easily that it has no life span. And it is so cheap that there is no incentive to mend it. If the third world is suffering because of textiles, they are not entirely blameless in the root of this problem. We, as consumers, get lectured by these NGOs but they fail to understand that consumers no longer have much choice except among cheap Asian garments. The textile industry remaining in the US no longer produces clothing...just carpet and like products.
