An interesting day

Post by Uncle Al »

Hi All!

I had an interesting day. Got up to go get a hair cut, wearing my
postal blue Utilikilt. Raised the garage door, and saw a lot of glass
on the drive. Debbies car was not under the carport. As the door
came up further, I saw her car out in the alley, driverside door
open, glass everywhere. The door lock was reamed out, the window
frame was bent where the 'thieves' pried the window to break it.
The ignition is gone, reamed out. This has not been a good day.
What a mess. What a pain in the chair! I'll try to post a few pics
but I'm not sure if this will work. I uploaded the pics from a file on
my computer. I can't preview this post and see any pics.
Here goes...

OK-It didn't work. Will try something else.

Let's see if this link will work....

The 'thieves' only got about $3.50 in change from the ash tray, plus the ash tray.

OK, let's try this....

Image Image Image Image
Image Image Image Image

Maybe, one of these days, I'll get the hang of adding pictures.....

This worked on 'Preview' but when I submitted the post, the pics did not
show up. If you see a 'box' with the word 'image' and a red x
in the upper left corner, just right-click on the box, and select 'show picture'.

Don't ya just 'luv' computers?

Somewhere in here it tells you that 3 pictures at a time is all you can put in a post. 8 is too many. You also might be hitting too many buttons. Just hit the button to the far right of "browse" when you pick your picture, and do all your typing before you add pictures. After you add ONE picture, you have to do it allllll over again to add another picture and so on.

Upload attachment, browse, add the file.

start over for next picture with Upload attachment etc etc. and again for 3rd pic.

Sorry to hear that. I've heard that in some parts of Spain, they don't lock their cars. If the car is locked it means you're hiding something (from thief perspective). So all cars are just unlocked, but you MUSTN'T have anything of a value in it. Could be a good solution.

Hope you were insured.
