Running in spandex clothes

Post by Bri »

I went running today in my adidas capris and didn't notice any adverse reactions towards them. I might have been shouted at by some guys in a car at an intersection but I had tunnel vision, cramps, and my leg was cramping badly so I didn't so much as care. With the mood I was in called pain, they better have had a weapon because they would've needed it. But I think most people are too scared of a reaction to say anything, or they don't care. Was thinking about running in the skort I bought from the adidas outlet.

Adidas capris? Are they some sort of jogging pants or are they much the same as other women's capris, 40, 60 or more Den panty hose without feet, or the same but from a more sturdier cloth.

I think skorts give the effect of , the lines of a skirt but the private practicality of pants, which in some situations is preferred above the all revealing skirts, especially when the skirts are as short as skorts generally are. But I would not myself choose a skort easily, unless I needed the protection of a pants and still wished the look ( at front) of a skirt. They can look smart.
A man is the same man in a pair of pants or a skirt. It is only the way people look at him that makes the difference.

They're these but without the white marks on the side and added 3 red stripes that go a tiny bit below the knee.

I see guys running in black tights all the time. Most likely no one noticed because it's rather common.

Same here (UK) with both the 'jogging brigade' and a growing number of the 'cycling nutters' who are not 'into' cycling shorts! Either way, men wearing men's clothes!

[PS: for the PC brigade - why "nutters"? Because a large percentage of them have no regard for either their own safety, or anyone else's, whilst on public roads]

I love leggings, there was a time I wore them more often than jeans. I find them very comfortable, and nice to wear. Too many people are self consious about wearing them. My room mate definitely being one. She wears jeans that are so tight on her waist they must be uncomfortable, or these sweat pants that look not so great. When I asked her why she hardly ever wears her leggings she says she does not exposing her abdomen area. But the jeans do that terribly well, and the sweats more so. All she needs to do is wear her leggings with a long shirt or sweat shirt. I've seen her in them and she looks great. Once again self conscious.

I personally prefer the full legged leggings to capris. In the states it is very rare these days to see men, let alone women wearing spandex clothing, even for exercise. They usually wear sweats, or in the worst cases JEANS.

To those that say my leggings are inappropriate for social occasions I have to remind them that jeans were unacceptable at social gatherings, they were for people working hard labor only.
