I'm not sure who the "lad in California" is.

The boy/girl I posted about was in Brewster, NY.

If (s)he's who you're talking about, I have not seen any further news stories. The newspaper web page has links to other articles, but I think I posted links to them in this thread. I believe there are some videos, which I haven't looked at ("Flash" crashes my browser.)

A google search on the boy's name brings up some Internet babble on the subject, but I didn't see any actual updates.
