sapphire has it exactly.

the skirt is a straight style with a zipper fly, pockets, and a rear slit.

if it was turned into pants it would only be unusual in the length.

forgot to describe today's outfit...

blue-grey fleece top
ankle-length "one-legged pant" black with white engineer-type pinstripes
white half-slip
knee-high hose
black pointy-toed "witchy" boots, with approx 2" kitten heel

Thanks folks. It's not a phrase I'd registered before, I'll file it away for future reference.

Cream jumper,

Black surgery denim mini skirt (from midas),

Moca opaque tights,

black riding boots

might brave it and go out for a walk later!

Green and navy kilt, cream kilt socks (rolled down), walking boots and an olive green top with part zip top.

That's what I wore when hosting a wine tasting tonight for 45 individuals. I had lots of fun, and of course both men and women loved the kilt. I felt so natural in it, I was continually being surprised when people referred to it.

Course I'm wierd, I'll readily admit it!! White bell bottoms, white square collar shirt and black silk scarf. Stripes and chevrons on shirt sleeve denote Petty Officer in the U.S. navy! So, I like to dress up a bit in private 8) :P

Khaki "flare skirt" from Lane Bryant, to which I just finished adding a lining, a red turtleneck, and slippers (just got up a little while ago, and haven't gotten dressed to Go Out.)

I think I set all my clocks forward.

Laundry day....

Post by crfriend »

All my "good stuff" is in the wash, so I'm wearing my black T-shirt with a Ben Franklin quote, and a moderately heavy black cotton skirt that needs repairs.

I may do something better later if Sapphire and I decide to go out for dinner after she gets home.

Dinner at relative's: black kilt, black short sleeved shirt with diagonal shiny black and grey morse-code-ish sort of pattern, black shoes, black hose, black leather sporran. Therefore, mainly black 8)
