Used laptop computer please...
I'm looking for a used laptop computer with a few years left on it. Looking for about 12" to 14" diagonal screen with attached regular ball type mousie. Looking to pay around $200 to $400 beans. A late cristmas giftie for meselfie.

Hmm.... unfortunately with used laptops, you get what you pay for.
You might consider the Asus Eee PC. It's had very good reviews this year, and was a surprise hit for the Christmas season. It doesn't run Windows, but it does run all the software you need to do email, web surfing, etc, in a nicely integrate package. AND... it's immune to all those Windows viruses.
