Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
Trousers [spit]; but then I'm in the office and being paid as a normal working day so I feel obligated to abide by the office dress code. Unfortunately I've had a complete enthusiasm bypass and all my get up and go got up and went
On the up side I just had a new sarong delivered, at £2.99 inc delivery (good old Ebay) I just could not resist it. it's a collection of browns and greens with a large lizard motif. Now all I need is some warmer weather so that I can wear it.
Have fun, and in case I forget to say it elsewhere:
Happy Christmas one and all.

It's Christmas Eve day and I've decided to splurge and turn the heat in the house up -- to 68 degrees. So, I'm celebrating -- wearing my burgundy "curtain" miniskirt and a T-shirt with a map of New England on it labelled "Home sweet home Massachusetts".
Happy Christmas, lads! (And lasses, too!)

Knee-length light tan leather skirt, pink short-sleeve tshirt, and Crocs. I wore a kilt to work last week on a day when the dress code was relaxed. I wore pants around the house last night when we had family over for an early Christmas party. I'm more at ease, I guess, in switching back and forth between one and two leg openings in my wardrobe.
It is New Year's Day and we're having a snow storm. I have absolutely NO intention of going outside.
I'm wearing my heavy flannel pink nightgown, my slipper boots that look like something out of Monsters, Inc., 3 cats and a laptop.
It's cozy.
The one eyed House Lion is draped across my chest with head resting on my left shoulder, Shannon, the brown patched tabby Manx is snugged by my side. I've got my feet up and Xing Xing, a female lilac point Birman has made a nest on/between my legs.
But, I think it is time to welcome the New Year with some French Toast, sausages and a Bloody Mary. The cats will be sad to have to move, but they will be back.

Can you send some down our way?
I was in Philadelphia today, and there (and here) it was mixed sun and clouds and well above freezing. Several of the people I talked with said how they liked the snow and wished they could have more.
Tell the snow that if it comes around here, it'll find people who appreciate it.

It was pretty warm today (in the 40's F), still is.
I'm wearing:
-- Long-sleeved (semi-) dress shirt (what I wore to the office)
-- Navy blue over-the-knee polyester pleated skirt (from Goodwill, but improved.)
-- Royal blue knee socks.
-- Sandals.
I'm planning to wear this as I go outside and down to the laundry room, to see if there's enough line space to do another load of laundry. So I guess this is also a sort of "out and about" post, too.
Currently, just a couple pairs of black kneesocks, layered. And a black silk scarf being used to tie my hair back into a ponytail. Getting ready to head into Seattle, so am getting dressed. Will be kilted today. Temps are a bit on the cool side of normal for Seattle during this time of year.
