Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
The latter half of the slides/pictures show women adopting "menswear" themed articles. Simply ludicrous. Note the gals in the "tuxedos" that somehow made me think of some Dickensian illustration of chimney sweeps. They look like humorous caricatures, almost cartoonish, of how they perceive men. Note the big bold neckties...methinks they tied them themselves...apparently they missed out on the Sunday-morning-in-front-of-the-mirror-with-Dad-learning-how-to-tie-a-tie lessons that most boys undergo as a rite of passage at some point.
Though some I do agree with, I find the views of this fashionista part of the problem with style and fashion these days.
Who the hell is this person to go about saying what is acceptable and not?
I felt the look prior to the last page was quite nice. Now, the writer claims the pants being worn are mens wear, but I will bet you dollars to donuts that she or he would did into any guy with the guts to pull on either pair of these pants, or even the outfit.
When I see writing like this, I think the person as a Joan Rivers like person who has really nothing nice or good to say.

Keep in mind those women are just the models wearing what the designer has created. We don't know if the outfits are from a male or female creator's take on tuxes. After seeing the slide show I don't think there is any caricaturing going on, lots of catwalk clothes are goofy.
I liked the right side outfits on both page eight and ten, okay that jacket on eight is too big but the sloppy tie on ten works. Your chimney sweep looked like a chauffeur to me, either way it was odd but I think maybe a model with a larger body would have helped it look more normal.
