Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
I sorta got lost in the transition and wasn't sure for a while if the site had poofed. I kept getting a message that my password or name or email address wasn't correct and I couldn't log on. Because of this glitch and 3 unanswered emails I was starting to drift away thinking the site was no longer valid. But I'm nothing if not persistent, and after the 4th email to bob I finally got him to assign me a password so I could again access the site. So, for better or for worse, I'm back. Happy to be back and reading up on all the posts I missed over the last 2 months of not being able to be here. :):)
I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.

I was starting to wonder whether you'd moved to Vegas, hawked your PC for that one last bet that would solve all your financial worries for ever and...
...anyway it's Good to have you back Skip.
Have fun,
Ian.
Do not argue with idiots; they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Greetings! I thought it was a tad quiet, since the site 're-birth'! In many ways, it's much better (once you get used to it!) - like having all the furniture re-newed (& re-arranged!), all at once. Only disappointment is the rather feeble choice of 'emoticons' now! I trust you'll be making up for lost time, Skip?

Steve D -- How'd you fare with that positively awful mess in Sheffield? It's good to see you back, too!
Yes - I'm here! I've never really gone away, although I don't post much these days.
Thanks for asking! As we live relatively high up and away from any major water courses, we were not affected by the floods, but it was pretty bad in the lower river valleys in towards the city centre.
